1) How do I reserve the Sauna and Cold Plunge? After emailing Liam@wakesauna.com for quote and availability - you will receive confirmation by email along with detailed instructions.
2) Is the Sauna clean? Yes, we keep the Sauna pristine at all times. The Sauna will be cleaned with only water and baking soda after every rental.
2) Do I have to maintain my own heat for the Sauna? We use wood-fired stoves! If you don’t feel comfortable maintaining your own fire, please let us know.
3) How long can I be in the sauna and cold plunge? EveryBODY is different, listen to you body and practice safely. (Not medical/sauna advice: Please consult your doctor prior to use)
4) How many people can fit in the Sauna? Our Sauna fits 4-6 people.
5) What are mobile Sauna drop-off and pick-up times? The times are flexible and agreed in advance. We will attempt to make every convenience for you.
6) What should I consider before booking my mobile Sauna? Our barrel cedar saunas have a footprint of 7ft wide x 8 ft long. It is helpful to send a photo of desired location to ensure proper spacing and access. Please contact us for site-specific planning!
7) Are your saunas child-friendly? Saunas are a big part of Finnish family culture. A place for the whole family to gather, relax, and rejuvenate. Minors may indulge with parental consent and supervision - please ensure the appropriate waivers have been signed, ask us how!
8) What is prohibited inside of the Sauna? For your safety, the following items are NOT allowed in the sauna: smoking, drugs, and alcohol, red wine, glass bottles or glass-wear/ceramics and jewelry (metals heat up and may burn your skin).
9) Do I need to know how to build a fire? Yes, you will have to build, start, and maintain your own fire. Operating the stove is simple and instructions will be provided. We will also set you up for success with fire-starters, kindling, and split hard wood to make fire management a breeze. We personally walk-through best practices with every rental!
10) What is your reservation and cancellation policy? A deposit equal to 25% of rental fee is required to hold your reservation. We enforce a 7-day cancellation policy. A notice of at least 7 days is required for cancellations to qualify for a refund. After this period, 50% of deposit will be forfeited.
